As the WORLD Racing team worked through the night to get their Scion tC ready for race day at California Speedway, it was apparent that them giving up and parking the car just wasn’t an option. Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout NASA Pro TTR 1:03:196
This past weekend at Firebird Raceway in Mesa, AZ, WORLD Racing competed in both the Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout and the NASA Pro TTR. The Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout included dyno, autocross, drag racing and time attack and WORLD Racing finished FIRST for FWD and Second Overall. The weekend also included the NASA TTR where Chris Rado blasted through the field of Viper and Vettes to not only set the best time for the session but a new track record at Firebird Raceway and a FIRST PLACE Finish in the TTR Class....Read More

This past weekend at Button Willow Raceway marked the inaugural 2010 season opener for the Redline Time Attack series. Button Willow is known as the proving ground for the fastest time attack cars in the United States and is the place where at last years Super Lap Battle Finals, WORLD Racing proved they were a team on a mission, after taking down the track record set by GM Racing back in 2005. The first race of the 2010 season started at Willow Springs international Raceway. This event marks the beginning of the 2010 NASA time trial season. During the off-season we had taken the FWD car apart after a dominating 2009 season to make some updates going into 2010.
The updates included additional stiffening and supporting of the chassis and suspension. Some of the other changes included engine tweaks and some new electronics gadgets, all in all we brought back the same car but ready for business. Another huge upgrade the WORLD Racing Scion tC received a brand new paint job on the interior and engine bay. On Tuesday, we received the car backfrom the painters and almost immediately, the WORLD-racing crew got busy...
Fort Mill, SC – (November 16, 2009) – Veteran racer Chris Rado of WORLD Racing broke the Unlimited FWD record at the Super Lap Battle finals on November 11th, with a time of 1.49.703. Rado ran his Scion tC on Continental tires, the first result of a new strategic alliance between Continental Tire and Hoosier Racing Tire. The previous record was set by GM, and stood for five years, but Rado beat that by 1.615 seconds, making his the first FWD car to run under 1.50 at Buttonwillow.
Rado also broke another track record with his drag car at the NHRA finals with 6.96 @146 mph. He then ran a 1.393 at the Redline Time Attack in his Scion tC, earning him the Unlimited Class Championship... Read More

Just after one year after destroying two transmissions at our Super Lap Battle finals at Buttonwillow Race way in 2008, and failing to finish the event in satisfactory standings- the close of a season riddled with mechaniical failures- Christian Rado and team Scion/World Racing now sit as undisputed champions atop the Unlimited FWD time-attack thrown. The crew scorched competition at this years SLB finals, winning their class outright and setting a new 1:49.3 record for the clockwise-13 track configuration with their dual-winged, GT-Award-winning tC, earning what would be their first of two such major time-attack series titles. And if that wasn't enough, Rads blew the dust off his Pro FWD dragster for some Comp-class competition at NHRA Finals in Pomona, CA, and ran a 6.87 @ 197mph the second round of Qualifying, backing it up with a 6.69@ 146 mph (letting off) the very next round, cementing the World Racing drag Scion tC in history books as the first FWD ever to run a six-second quarter-mile.
